Hello friends!  It's St. Patty's Day and I'm in the spirit, so I went looking for cool St. Patrick's day stuff to do/read.  I found:

The Leaky Cauldron has a St. Patrick's Day edition of The Quibbler available online!  You know you want one...

History.com has a wealth of cool information on St. Patrick's Day, including video on the history of the holiday, one called Ireland Deconstructed and something on corned beef and cabbage.

And did you know there's a St. Patrick's Day.com?  There is.  I found it.  There are two that I found, actually, with different spellings for the web address, but this was (in my opinion) the better of the two.  If you want to check out the other one for comparison, it's here.  They both have historical information and fun stuff to read and do.  Have fun and I hope you wore your green!

I will have to check these out. I taped everything I could on Ireland this weekend, and my background is now the Cliffs of Moher, which I passed over on my way to Spain--I swear they reached up and grabbed my soul and I long to go back...

I wore orange. =/
But it's all good. I wore green for gym, and I'm Irish. So I figure that makes up for it. Hopefully.

GingerGirl - The Cliffs of Insanity! Too cool. :)

Girl - LOL! I was going to comment (but forgot to) that every year when I bugged my dad about wearing green he would always say that "We're protestant! We wear orange!" I guess green is "technically", "traditionally" just for Catholics, but hey, my grandma's Catholic, so whatever. And orange won't keep you from getting pinched. ;)

Haha.
Yeah, in my English class the teacher was teaching us the meaning of the holiday.
It was illegal, and even though I don't really believe the same things, it was interesting.
And it's still a hecka lota fun to wear green for St. Patty's Day. [:
